Spanish golf courses are as varied as the country’s cuisine, so where better to enjoy a break that marries the two?

Golfwise, those courses can be enjoyed in year round sunshine. Which is why Spain has an enviable reputation as a mecca for golfers from countries where the weather prevents them from following their passion.

And what a choice those golfers from colder climes have.

Arguably, the Costa del Sol in the south of the country is the most popular region for golfers escaping the northern European winter.

La Cala, La Quinta, Los Monteros and Rio Real are just four courses that combine challenging golf with stunning scenery.

The Costa del Sol is part of the Spanish region of Andalucia and Costa de la Luz and Almeria are similarly blessed with golf courses you will want to visit time and time again. El Rompido is a case in point in the former, Desert Springs the latter.
