Golf Courses
Royal County Down Golf Club (Championship Course)
Par 72 par Length 6,968 yards
With a picturesque setting in the Irish hills, the Championship Links Golf Course is one of the finest in the country. Designed by Tom Morris, it has earned a great reputation for its challenging holes, which will find even the top players struggling to make birdies. Well kept fairways are a joy to play, and the strategically placed bunkers and quick greens make this a tough, but most enjoyable round of golf.
BELVOIR PARK GOLF CLUB
Par 71 Length 6,516 yards.
Consistently ranked in Irelands top 30 golf courses this is an undulating parkland course that meanders through 136 acres of mature woodland.
MALONE GOLF CLUB
Situated in 330 acres of mature woodland, Malone Golf Course is made up of 27 holes in undulating parkland and a huge trout lake that covers 25 acres and comes into play on a number of holes.
ARDGLASS GOLF CLUB
Par 70 Length – 6,268 yards.
It is difficult to find a more spectacular links course than Ardglass. With the front five holes hugging the Irish Sea, the blustery winds and meandering fairways demand the utmost accuracy from tee to green. The challenge of the course dovetailed with its shear beauty means that a trip to Ardglass is a real treat.
ROYAL BELFAST GOLF CLUB
Par 70 Length – 6,306 yards.
Designed by Harry Colt this course flows over rolling parkland and is characterized by lush fairways, gentle elevations and strategically placed bunkers. It’s not the longest of courses but beware there are enough challenging holes to ruin your card
